Gathering up bits and pieces of information from the beta updates of Genshin Impact, a leaker found something interesting enough to cause a stir in the community. This leak, surprisingly comes from an old beta version which had been closed long before the current update was released.
The leaked image shows an unedited version of Teyvat, the in-game world of Genshin Impact which features seven different nations left for the Travelers to explore in order to search for their lost sibling. As of now, only 4 nations are accessible.

A lot of game files get hidden amongst the constant patches that the game gets after an interval of 42 days. As a consequence, players might be missing out on a lot of information that the developers might have brought in the game in the previous patches or are planning to bring in upcoming patches.
While Travelers might have been getting leaks on the 3.2 update lately considering that the beta version is still going on, a renowned Genshin Impact leaker ‘Lumie’ has brought up a leaked map of Teyvat from a closed beta update. The image comes even before Inazuma was released in the game.
The leaked map shows a rough sketch of Teyvat with some new areas that are currently not part of the game. Players can take a look at the map and locate the following additions to get an idea regarding their location-
- Fontaine
- Dragon Shadow City
- Nightmare Eye
- Scotched Lava Lands

Other areas such as Black Beach and Volcano are also mentioned in the leaked map which could probably be near Sumeru’s desert but they have not been introduced by HoYoverse as of now. It should also noted that the map is not completely accurate as a lot of previous locations are incorrect such as-
- Dragonspine’s location
- Chasm’s absence
- Inazuma islands aren’t scattered

Nevertheless, the leaked information has gained much traction on the community as several players are assuming that Fontaine’s location might be correct after all as we are heading towards the Hydro nation in the 4.0 update.
