Four people were taken to area hospitals after a plane crashed in Colorado Friday, according to authorities.
The Arvada Police Department said officers responded to reports of a small aircraft crash in the area of Oberon and Carr around 9:30 a.m.
Authorities said two adults and two juveniles were involved in the crash, adding they were transported to local hospitals with injury. Their names and conditions were not immediately known.
Police shared a photo of the plane, with first responders tending to the scene.
According to KDVR, the plane hit a fence and tree before crashing into the front yard of a home.
Witnesses told KDVR neighbors helped pull people out of the plane.
The media outlet said a hazmat crew was on hand as a precaution. An investigation into what led up to the crash is ongoing.
